In a LivingWorks ASIST workshop you will learn to be an ASIST Helper
What will you learn?
Recognise when someone might be having thoughts of suicide
Ask the person about suicide and know what to do if they say “yes”
Help the person develop a personalised safety plan, access help, and find hope
No previous experience required - participants can register for ASIST without having to do START or safeTALK
How much does it cost? No cost to participants as this service is supported by in kind donations and funding from VetPrac and LivingWorks.
