90-minute online course: Develop the foundational skills to recognise when someone might be thinking of suicide and connect them to further help. This is a self-paced, interactive course with a variety of simulation options.

safeTALK Gold Coast
In a LivingWorks safeTALK workshop you will learn to be a “Connector”.
What will you learn?
Recognise when someone might be having thoughts of suicide
Ask the person about suicide and know what to do if they say “yes”
Provide the person with a “warm handover” to connect them to further help (e.g., connect them to an ASIST caregiver)
How much does it cost? No cost to participants as this service is supported by funding from the Australian Government through the PHN Program.
Who can come? If you are a part of the veterinary community in the Gold Coast area, then come along!
